The Keystone CFS/K-70 WOL 3600mm lintel is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed for builders and contractors needing robust support over wide outer leaf blockwork. Ideal for cavity widths of 70-85mm, this lintel is engineered to carry heavy loads reliably on demanding structural openings. Please note that the outer leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm, and propping is recommended during installation to ensure safe and efficient building progress.

Application

This lintel is typically used in cavity wall construction where the outer leaf blockwork measures between 125-150mm thick. It provides structural support above window and door openings, ensuring load is safely transferred around the cavity. Builders should position blockwork tightly against the inner face of the lintel and apply a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load. Propping the lintel during build is advised to maintain alignment and speed up construction.
