Details

The Keystone CFS/K-70 WOL 3450mm lintel is an extra heavy duty structural support designed specifically for cavity walls with wide outer leaves. Ideal for builders and site managers working on demanding projects, this lintel offers robust load-bearing capacity and precise compatibility with cavity widths between 70 and 85mm. Please note that outer leaf blockwork must not exceed a 25mm overhang beyond the lintel flange, and propping is recommended to speed up construction and ensure safety.

Application

This lintel is commonly used to span wide openings in cavity walls, supporting outer leaf blockwork typically 125-150mm thick. Its extra heavy duty rating makes it suitable for heavier loads such as above large window or door openings on residential or commercial builds. The lintel ensures even load transfer when a mortar bed is applied on top of the blockwork before floor units are placed. Builders should ensure blockwork is tightly built against the lintel's inner face for maximum structural integrity.
