Ideal for cavity walls with 70-85mm cavity width and 125-150mm wide outer leaf blockwork.
Supports wide outer leaf blockwork with maximum 25mm overhang on lintel flange.
Recommended to prop lintels during installation to maintain construction speed and safety.
Blockwork must be built tight against inner face; mortar bed required on top before floor units are laid for load distribution.

The Keystone CFS/K-70 WOL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel measuring 3000mm in length, specifically engineered to support openings in cavity walls with a cavity width between 70-85mm. It is designed for use with 125-150mm wide outer leaf blockwork, making it a dependable choice for builders and site managers undertaking serious structural projects. Please note that the outer leaf block should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is suited for heavy-duty load-bearing applications in cavity wall construction, providing robust support over doorways, windows, and other openings. It is particularly suitable for projects requiring wide outer leaf blockwork support. To facilitate safe and efficient construction, it is recommended that lintels are propped during installation. Additionally, blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel, with a mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before floor units are laid to ensure an even load distribution.
