Details

The Keystone CFS/K-70 WOL 2250mm is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered to support wide outer leaf blockwork in demanding structural applications. Designed with trade professionals in mind, this lintel offers robust performance for cavity widths between 70mm and 85mm, making it a dependable choice for builders and site managers handling serious projects. Please note, outer leaf blocks should not extend beyond the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall construction where the outer leaf blockwork measures 125mm to 150mm in width. It provides essential support over openings such as windows and doors in load-bearing walls, ensuring even distribution of structural loads. To facilitate quicker build times and enhance safety, it is advisable to prop the lintel during installation. Blockwork must be built tight against the inner face of the lintel, with a mortar bed applied atop the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly spread the load.
