Details

The Keystone CFS/K-70 WIL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel measuring 4200mm in length, engineered to support openings in walls with cavity widths between 70 and 85mm. Designed primarily for use with 125-150mm wide inner leaf blockwork, this lintel offers the strength and reliability builders and site managers need for demanding structural applications. Please note that inner leaf blockwork must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure proper load distribution.

Application

This lintel is ideal for cavity wall construction where extra heavy duty load-bearing capacity is required, such as over wide window and door openings. It supports inner leaf blockwork securely, making it suitable for commercial and residential developments where durability and compliance with structural standards are essential. To maintain build quality and safety, lintels should be temporarily propped to facilitate faster, secure construction. Mortar beds should be placed on top of the blockwork before floor units are installed to evenly distribute loads.
