Lintel should be propped during installation; inner leaf block must not overhang flange by more than 25mm.

The Keystone CFS/K-70 WIL 3900mm lintel is engineered for extra heavy duty cavity wall applications, specifically supporting wide inner leaf blockwork between 125 and 150mm. This lintel is a dependable choice for builders, site managers, and contractors working on substantial openings where structural integrity is critical. Application

Designed for use in cavity walls with a cavity width of 70-85mm, this lintel is ideal for supporting door and window openings in robust masonry construction. It provides excellent load distribution when installed with inner leaf blockwork built tight against the lintel’s inner face. To ensure speed and safety on site, propping during installation is recommended. Additionally, a mortar bed must be placed atop the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute loads across the lintel.
