The Keystone CFS/K-70 WIL 3600mm lintel is engineered for extra heavy duty cavity wall applications, specifically designed for cavities measuring 70-85mm and inner leaf blockwork widths from 125 to 150mm. This specialist lintel is an excellent choice for builders and contractors requiring dependable structural support for substantial openings. Please note, lintels must be propped during installation to ensure safe and effective load transfer.

Application

This lintel supports wide inner leaf blockwork in cavity walls, commonly used in commercial and residential builds where heavy loads must be reliably carried above openings such as doors and windows. It is ideal for projects demanding robust structural integrity and compliance with building regulations. Ensure the inner leaf blockwork does not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain proper load distribution. Placing a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units is recommended to evenly spread the load.
