The Keystone CFS/K-70 WIL Extra Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel at 1050mm is engineered for builders and contractors working on substantial cavity wall openings. Its robust design suits 70-85mm cavity widths with a wide inner leaf of 125-150mm blockwork, providing dependable structural support on serious projects. Please note that inner leaf blockwork must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain integrity.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall construction where extra heavy duty load-bearing capacity is required, such as above doors, large window openings, or structural gaps in masonry walls. It supports wide inner leaf blockwork and is best installed with propping to speed construction and ensure correct load distribution. Mortar should be bedded on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly spread weight across the lintel.
