The Keystone CFS/K-70 is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed specifically for openings where cavity widths range from 70 to 85mm. It’s an ideal choice for builders, site managers, and contractors needing robust support for structural openings in cavity walls. Please note that all perpendicular and horizontal joints must be fully filled with mortar to achieve optimal strength.

Application

This lintel is commonly used to span window and door openings in cavity walls on residential or commercial projects requiring enhanced load-bearing capacity. Its extra heavy duty specification makes it suitable for supporting floors or roofs above wide openings, ensuring safety and durability on-site. To facilitate faster construction, it is recommended to prop lintels during installation. A mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load.
