Application

This cavity wall lintel is ideal for use above doors, windows, and other openings in masonry cavity walls with a cavity width of 70-85mm. Its extra heavy duty load rating makes it suitable for projects where heavy structural loads must be transferred safely to supporting walls. Correct installation involves filling all perpendicular and horizontal joints with mortar and applying a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution. Propping lintels during installation is advised to speed up construction and ensure stability.
