Details

The Keystone CFS/K-50 WOL 3900mm is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered for builders and contractors tackling demanding projects. It is specifically designed to support openings where the cavity width ranges from 50 to 65mm and the outer leaf blockwork is 125-150mm wide, offering exceptional strength and durability for structural stability. Please note that outer leaf blocks should not extend beyond the lintel flange by more than 25mm, and lintels must be propped to ensure safe and efficient installation.

Application

This lintel is ideal for load-bearing applications in cavity wall construction, particularly where wide outer leaf blocks are used. It provides robust support over window and door openings on residential or commercial developments where extra heavy duty performance is required. To achieve optimal load transfer, the blockwork should be built tightly against the inner face of the lintel, and a mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before installing floor units.
