The Keystone CFS/K-50 WOL 3450mm lintel is engineered for extra heavy duty applications in cavity wall construction, specifically where the outer leaf blockwork ranges from 125 to 150mm wide. Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting wide outer leaf cavity walls with cavity widths between 50 and 65mm. It is suitable for use above large openings such as windows and doors where additional load capacity is required. Proper installation involves placing a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution. Propping the lintel during construction is recommended to speed up the build process and maintain structural integrity. The outer leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain correct load bearing.
