The Keystone CFS/K-50 WOL 1800mm lintel is an extra heavy duty solution engineered for cavity walls with wide outer leaf blockwork. Ideal for builders and contractors requiring dependable structural support over openings in walls with cavity widths of 50 to 65mm. Please note, this lintel is designed specifically for outer leaf blocks between 125-150mm wide, and proper installation practices must be followed to ensure performance.

Application

This lintel is typically used to span window and door openings in cavity walls where the outer leaf blockwork is wider than standard. It supports heavy loads above openings, making it suitable for serious building projects including residential developments and commercial structures. Propping the lintel during installation is advised to speed up construction and maintain safety. The outer leaf blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel, with a mortar bed applied on top before laying floor units to distribute loads evenly.
