Details

The Keystone CFS/K-50 WOL 1200mm lintel is engineered for extra heavy duty applications in cavity wall construction. Ideal for builders, site managers and contractors needing dependable support for wide outer leaf blockwork, this lintel is tailored to cavity widths between 50 and 65mm. Please note, the outer leaf blockwork must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed to carry heavy loads over openings in cavity walls with a wide outer leaf, typically 125-150mm thick. It provides robust support for doorways, windows and other structural penetrations on demanding projects. For best results, it is recommended to prop the lintel during installation to speed up construction and ensure safety. Blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel, and a mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute loads evenly.
