Details

The Keystone CFS/K-50 WIL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed specifically for wide inner leaf applications. Ideal for builders and site managers working on substantial openings requiring robust and reliable structural support. Please note that proper installation, including propping and mortar bedding, is essential for optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is engineered to support cavity walls with widths ranging from 50 to 65mm, and inner leaf blockwork between 125 and 150mm thick. It is commonly used in load-bearing walls where heavy structural loads must be safely transferred above doorways, windows, or other openings. The lintel flange must not be overhung by more than 25mm by the inner leaf blockwork to maintain integrity. Propping during construction is recommended to speed up the build process and ensure safety.
