Application

This lintel is designed for use in cavity wall constructions featuring a wide inner leaf, particularly where inner leaf blockwork measures between 125 and 150mm thick. It is ideal for supporting large openings such as windows and doors in load-bearing walls. To maintain structural integrity and ensure even load distribution, it is important that the inner leaf blockwork does not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm. Additionally, propping the lintel during installation is recommended to facilitate faster, safer construction progress.
