Details

The Keystone CFS/K-50 WIL 3300mm lintel is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel tailored for wide inner leaf blockwork. It is specifically designed to reliably support openings where cavity widths range between 50 and 65mm. This product is perfect for builders and site managers working on substantial structural projects requiring strong, dependable lintels. Please note, lintels should be propped during installation to maintain safety and construction speed.

Application

This lintel is primarily used to span openings in cavity walls with a wide inner leaf, typically 125-150mm blockwork thickness. It supports heavy loads over doorways, windows, and other structural gaps in both residential and commercial builds. The lintel flange must not be overhung by inner leaf blockwork by more than 25mm to ensure proper load transfer. It is recommended that a mortar bed be applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load.
