Details

The Keystone CFS/K-50 WIL Extra Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel at 3150mm length is engineered to provide dependable support for cavity wall openings where the inner leaf ranges between 125mm and 150mm. Intended for builders, site managers, and contractors handling demanding structural builds, this lintel ensures strength and stability on serious projects. Please note, inner leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain integrity.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with a wide inner leaf, accommodating cavity widths of 50-65mm. It is ideal for heavy load-bearing scenarios such as large window or door openings in residential or commercial construction. To speed up build times and ensure safety, lintels should be propped during installation. Blockwork must be built tightly against the inner face of the lintel, with a mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute loads.
