Details

The Keystone CFS/K-50 WIL is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, engineered for builders and site professionals requiring dependable structural support in wide inner leaf masonry. At 2850mm long, it suits cavity widths from 50 to 65mm and inner leaf blockwork thickness between 125 and 150mm. Please note that inner leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain proper load distribution.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting structural openings such as windows and doors within cavity walls where wide inner leaf blockwork is used. It is well suited to heavy load situations typical on larger residential or commercial projects. Propping lintels during installation is advised to speed up construction and ensure the lintel remains securely in place. For optimum load transfer, blockwork should be built tightly against the inner face of the lintel, with a mortar bed applied on top before laying floor units.
