The Keystone CFS/K-50 WIL 1500mm lintel is engineered for extra heavy duty requirements in cavity wall construction. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working with wide inner leaf blockwork, this lintel provides robust support for openings in walls with cavity widths of 50-65mm. Please note that images are for illustration purposes only.

Application

Designed specifically for cavity walls with wide inner leaf blockwork measuring between 125mm and 150mm, this lintel is perfect for supporting structural openings such as doorways and windows. To maintain load distribution and build quality, it’s essential that the inner leaf blockwork does not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm. Propping the lintel during installation is recommended to facilitate a safe and efficient build process. Ensure blockwork is tightly packed against the inner face of the lintel with a mortar bed applied on top before laying floor units, promoting even load transfer.
