Application

This lintel is designed for use in cavity wall construction with a wide outer leaf, providing dependable load-bearing capacity for openings such as windows and doors. It suits blockwork outer leaves with a cavity width of 125-150mm and should be installed so that the outer leaf blockwork does not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm. Proper propping is recommended to maintain structural integrity and speed up the build process. Mortar bedding placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units ensures even load distribution across the lintel.
