Details

The Keystone CFS/K-150 WOL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed specifically for wide outer leaf blockwork with a cavity width between 150 and 165mm. This lintel is ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers requiring reliable support for larger openings in cavity walls. Please note that the outer leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is commonly used to support structural openings such as windows and doors in cavity walls with wider outer leaves measuring 125-150mm. It provides robust load-bearing capacity for heavy-duty projects, ensuring stability and compliance with building standards. For best results, it is advised to prop the lintel during installation to speed up construction and reduce the risk of movement. Blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel, with a mortar bed placed on top before laying floor units to evenly distribute loads.
