Details

The Keystone CFS/K-150 WOL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, 3300mm in length, specifically designed for supporting openings in wide outer leaf cavity walls. Suited to builders, site managers and contractors handling substantial loads, this lintel ensures robust structural support for serious projects. Please note, outer leaf blockwork must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain integrity.

Application

This lintel is typically used in cavity walls with a cavity width between 150mm and 165mm, supporting outer leaf blockwork that ranges from 125mm to 150mm wide. It is ideal for heavy-duty applications such as large window and door openings where extra load-bearing capacity is required. Propping the lintel during installation is recommended to maintain speed and safety on site. Mortar bedding on top of the blockwork before laying floor units helps distribute load evenly across the lintel.
