Details

The Keystone CFS/K-150 WOL 2400mm lintel is an extra heavy duty steel cavity wall lintel, engineered to support wide outer leaf blockwork in robust structural openings. Favoured by builders and site managers working on large-scale projects, this lintel offers dependable strength and precision fit for cavity widths between 150 and 165mm. Please note, the lintel is supplied on its own and must be installed with appropriate propping to maintain safety and build speed.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed for cavity walls with a wide outer leaf, typically using 125-150mm blockwork. It supports lintelled openings such as windows and doors, transferring heavy structural loads across the cavity. To ensure optimal performance, the outer leaf blocks should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm, and blockwork should be built tightly against the lintel’s inner face. A mortar bed is recommended on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute weight evenly.
