The Keystone CFS/K-150 WOL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, specifically engineered to support wide outer leaf blockwork in openings with cavity widths between 150 and 165mm. Its robust design makes it an excellent choice for builders, contractors, and site managers handling demanding structural projects where reliability and load-bearing capacity are critical. Please note, the outer leaf block should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is commonly used in cavity wall constructions featuring a wide outer leaf, typically between 125mm and 150mm thick. It provides essential support above doorways, windows, and other openings where extra heavy duty load capacity is required. The lintel should be propped during installation to facilitate faster, safer construction, and the blockwork must be built tightly against the inner face. A mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution.
