The Keystone CFS/K-150 WOL 1650mm lintel is an extra heavy duty steel support designed specifically for cavity walls with wider outer leaf blockwork. It’s built for builders, contractors, and developers requiring dependable structural elements to safely span openings in robust masonry walls. Please note, this lintel is intended for use with 125-150mm wide outer leaf blocks and must be correctly installed for optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting window and door openings in cavity walls where the outer leaf blockwork measures between 125mm and 150mm wide. It accommodates cavity widths from 150mm up to 165mm, making it suitable for heavy-duty load-bearing scenarios on commercial or residential developments. To ensure structural integrity and speed on site, it is advised that lintels are propped during installation. The blockwork should be built tight against the lintel’s inner face, and a mortar bed applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute loads evenly.
