The Keystone CFS/K-150 WOL lintel is an extra heavy duty structural support designed specifically for cavity walls with wide outer leaves. Ideal for builders and site managers working on serious projects, this 1500mm lintel offers reliable strength and precision fit for cavity widths between 150 and 165mm. Please note that the outer leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain integrity.

Application

This lintel is engineered to carry heavy loads above openings in cavity walls, particularly where the outer leaf blockwork ranges from 125 to 150mm thick. It is commonly used in residential and commercial projects requiring durable support for window and door openings. For optimal performance and to speed up construction, propping of the lintel is recommended during installation. Ensure the blockwork is built tightly against the lintel’s inner face, and apply a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load.
