Note: Blockwork must be built tight against the lintel’s inner face; mortar bed required on blockwork before floor units are laid.

Important: Outer leaf blockwork must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm. The blockwork should be built tight against the lintel’s inner face, and a mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution.
