Details

The Keystone CFS/K-150 WIL 4800mm lintel is engineered for extra heavy duty support in cavity walls with wide inner leaf blockwork. Specifically designed for use in 150-165mm cavity widths and 125-150mm thick inner leaf blocks, this lintel ensures dependable strength for critical structural openings. Please note, the inner leaf block must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain integrity during and after installation.

Application

This heavy duty cavity wall lintel is ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working on large-scale or load-critical projects requiring reliable support above window and door openings. It is commonly used in masonry cavity walls where extra strength is needed, particularly with wide inner leaf blockwork. To maintain construction speed and safety, it is recommended to prop the lintel during installation and ensure blockwork is built tightly against the inner face of the lintel. A mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units, providing an even load distribution.
