Details

The Keystone CFS/K-150 WIL is a robust extra heavy duty lintel engineered specifically for cavity walls with wide inner leaves. At 3300mm in length, it provides dependable support for large openings in blockwork, making it the preferred choice for builders and contractors handling substantial structural projects. Please note, inner leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure optimal load distribution.

Application

This lintel is ideal for cavity wall constructions where cavity widths range from 150 to 165mm and the inner leaf blockwork measures between 125 and 150mm thick. It is perfectly suited for supporting masonry above doors, windows, and other openings requiring an extra heavy duty load capacity. To maintain site safety and speed up construction, it is recommended to prop the lintel during installation. Blockwork should be built tight against the lintel’s inner face, with a mortar bed laid on top before installing floor units to ensure even load distribution.
