The Keystone CFS/K-150 WIL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed for builders and contractors requiring dependable structural support for openings with wide inner leaf blockwork. Measuring 2700mm in length, this lintel is engineered to carry significant loads across cavity widths of 150-165mm, making it a practical choice for demanding construction projects. Please note, inner leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is typically used to span openings in cavity walls where the inner leaf blockwork is wider than standard, between 125-150mm thick. It provides strong support for lintelled openings such as window and door frames, ensuring even load transfer to surrounding masonry. For best results, it is recommended to prop lintels during construction to speed up the build process and apply a mortar bed atop the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute load evenly.
