The Keystone CFS/K-150 WIL 1350mm lintel is engineered for extra heavy duty support in cavity wall applications, specifically designed for wide inner leaf walls. This lintel is the smart choice for builders and contractors handling openings where cavity widths range from 150mm to 165mm, offering dependable structural integrity on serious projects. Please note, inner leaf blockwork thickness should be between 125mm and 150mm, and blocks should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure proper fit and support.

Application

Ideal for supporting openings such as windows and doors in cavity walls with a wide inner leaf, this lintel is tailored for use with substantial blockwork. It’s commonly specified on sites requiring extra heavy duty load-bearing capacity, where reliability and compliance with structural demands are critical. For best results, blockwork should be built firmly against the inner face of the lintel, and a mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to guarantee even load distribution. Propping lintels during installation is advised to maintain safety and accelerate build times.
