The Keystone CFS/K-130 WOL 600mm lintel is an extra heavy duty solution tailored for cavity walls with wide outer leaf blockwork. Ideal for builders and contractors requiring dependable structural support for openings in walls with cavity widths between 130 and 145mm, this lintel offers strength and reliability on serious projects. Please note, outer leaf blocks must be positioned carefully to avoid overhang beyond 25mm on the lintel flange, and lintels should be propped during construction for optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is designed for use in cavity wall construction where the outer leaf blockwork measures between 125 and 150mm wide. It supports openings such as window and door frames, ensuring the structural integrity of external walls under heavy loads. Proper installation involves building blockwork tight against the inner face of the lintel and placing a mortar bed atop the blockwork before laying floor units, ensuring even load distribution. Propping is recommended to speed up construction and maintain safety.
