Details

The Keystone CFS/K-130 WOL Extra Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel at 4000mm is engineered specifically for builders and contractors working on cavity walls with wider outer leafs. Its robust design supports heavy loads across openings where cavity widths measure between 130 and 145mm, making it a reliable choice for demanding structural requirements. Please note that outer leaf blocks should not exceed a 25mm overhang beyond the lintel flange to ensure proper support.

Application

This lintel is commonly used to span openings such as doorways and larger window spaces in cavity walls featuring wide outer leaf blockwork between 125 and 150mm thick. It is essential to prop the lintel during installation to maintain structural integrity and speed up the build process. Mortar should be bedded on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to guarantee even load distribution across the lintel.
