Supports wide outer leaf blockwork with a lintel height of 229mm and width of 345mm for robust load bearing.
Engineered to distribute heavy structural loads safely across openings such as doors and windows.
Recommended to prop lintels during installation for faster, safer construction. Blocks should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel.

Details

The Keystone CFS/K-130 WOL 3750mm is a specialist extra heavy duty lintel designed for cavity walls with wide outer leaf blockwork. Ideal for builders, contractors and site managers requiring reliable structural support for large openings, this lintel ensures strength and durability on demanding projects. Please note that outer leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is engineered to support openings in cavity walls where the cavity width ranges from 130mm to 145mm, paired with outer leaf blocks between 125mm and 150mm wide. It provides extra heavy duty load-bearing capacity, making it suitable for large window and door openings in residential and commercial buildings. Installation best practice includes propping the lintel during construction to speed up work and ensure safety. Additionally, blockwork should be built tight to the inner face of the lintel, with a mortar bed applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute loads.
