Details

The Keystone CFS/K-130 WOL 3600mm lintel is an extra heavy duty solution specifically engineered for cavity walls with wide outer leaves. Perfectly suited to contractors and site managers working on robust structural openings, it offers the strength and reliability essential for demanding builds. Please note, outer leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain integrity.

Application

This lintel is designed to support openings in cavity walls with widths ranging from 130 to 145mm, accommodating outer leaf blockwork thicknesses of 125 to 150mm. It is ideal for use in load-bearing situations where extra heavy duty capacity is required, such as large window or door openings on residential or commercial projects. To ensure stability and speed up construction, propping the lintel during installation is advised. Blockwork should be built tight against the lintel’s inner face, with a mortar bed applied atop the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute load.
