The Keystone CFS/K-130 WOL Extra Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel at 3450mm length is engineered for builders and contractors tackling larger cavity wall openings requiring robust structural support. Ideal for cavity widths between 130-145mm and outer leaf blockwork from 125-150mm, this lintel combines strength with practical dimensions to suit serious construction projects. Please note, the outer leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm, and lintels must be propped during installation to maintain safety and construction speed.

Application

This lintel is designed to carry heavy loads over wide cavity wall openings, such as large window or door frames in residential or commercial developments. It supports outer leaf blockwork securely, ensuring the stability of the masonry above. Propping is recommended to facilitate faster build times and distribute loads evenly during construction. Mortar beds should be placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to provide uniform load distribution. Always build blockwork tight against the inner face of the lintel for optimal performance.
