The Keystone CFS/K-130 WOL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, expertly designed for builders and site managers working with wide outer leaf blockwork. At 1500mm long, it provides robust support across openings in cavity walls measuring 130-145mm wide. This lintel is a dependable choice for demanding projects where strength and reliability are essential. Please note, outer leaf blocks should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is specifically suited for cavity walls with a wide outer leaf, typically 125-150mm thick blockwork. It supports doorways, window openings, and other structural gaps where extra heavy duty load-bearing capacity is required. Builders should ensure blockwork is built tight against the inner face of the lintel and apply a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to achieve even load distribution. For best results and to maintain site safety, propping lintels during installation is strongly recommended to speed up construction.
