Application

This lintel is suited to cavity wall constructions where a wide inner leaf is present, typically 125-150mm thick blockwork. It provides critical load-bearing support over window and door openings, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with building standards. Propping is recommended during installation to facilitate faster construction and maintain safety. Blocks should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel, with a mortar bed laid atop blockwork before floor units are placed to evenly distribute the load.
