Details

The Keystone CFS/K-130 WIL 4800mm is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel engineered for wide inner leaf blockwork. Designed for builders, contractors and site managers handling substantial structural openings, it offers dependable load support where cavity widths range between 130 and 145mm. Please note, this product requires temporary propping during installation to ensure correct load distribution and safe construction progress.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting openings such as windows and doors in cavity walls with a wide inner leaf, typically 125-150mm thick. It provides robust structural backing for blockwork, ensuring stability in both residential and commercial projects. The lintel flange must not be overhung by more than 25mm by the inner leaf blockwork, and blockwork should be built tightly against the lintel’s inner face. A mortar bed should be placed on top of the blockwork before floor units are laid to evenly distribute loads.
