The Keystone CFS/K-130 WIL 4200mm lintel is an extra heavy duty structural support designed specifically for cavity walls with wide inner leaf blockwork. It is ideal for builders, site managers, and contractors working on demanding projects that require dependable load-bearing solutions for openings such as windows and doors. Please note, inner leaf blocks must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure correct load distribution.

Application

This lintel is engineered to carry heavy loads across cavity walls with a cavity width between 130 and 145mm, accommodating inner leaf blockwork widths from 125 to 150mm. It is commonly used in robust residential and commercial construction where extra strength is essential. Proper installation includes propping to speed up construction and placing a mortar bed atop the blockwork before laying floor units, ensuring even load transfer. Blockwork should be built firmly against the inner face of the lintel for maximum stability.
