Details

The Keystone CFS/K-130 WIL 3600mm lintel is an extra heavy duty cavity wall support, tailored for builders and contractors working with wide inner leaf blockwork. Its robust construction makes it ideal for safely spanning openings in walls with cavity widths between 130mm and 145mm. Please note, the inner leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure proper load distribution.

Application

This lintel is designed to provide strong, reliable support over wide openings in cavity walls, commonly used in both commercial and residential builds. It is particularly suited for inner leaf blockwork widths of 125-150mm, offering extra heavy duty capacity for demanding structural requirements. For optimal performance, it is recommended to prop lintels during installation and to build blockwork tight against the inner face of the lintel. Additionally, placing a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units helps distribute loads evenly.
