Details

The Keystone CFS/K-130 WIL 3150mm is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed specifically for wide inner leaf masonry. It’s built to deliver dependable structural support for openings in cavity walls with inner leaves of 125-150mm and cavity widths between 130-145mm. This lintel is an excellent choice for builders and site managers tackling demanding builds where reliability is non-negotiable. Please note, inner leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is engineered to carry heavy loads above large openings such as doors and windows in cavity wall construction. It is especially suited for use with wide inner leaf blockwork, commonly found in residential and commercial developments requiring enhanced load-bearing capabilities. To optimise installation speed and safety, it is recommended that lintels are propped during construction. Ensure blockwork is built tight against the lintel’s inner face, and apply a mortar bed atop the blockwork before laying floor units to achieve even load distribution.
