Outer leaf blockwork must not overhang lintel flange by more than 25mm to ensure proper seating and load distribution.

The Keystone CFS/K-110 WOL 3600mm is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel specifically engineered for builders and contractors working with wide outer leaf blockwork. Ideal for structural openings where cavity widths range between 110-125mm, this lintel offers dependable support for demanding projects. Please note, the outer leaf blocks are not included and must be installed carefully to avoid overhang beyond 25mm of the lintel flange.

Application

This lintel is designed for cavity wall construction with wide outer leaf blockwork measuring 125-150mm thick. It is commonly used to span openings such as doors and windows in load-bearing walls where extra heavy duty support is required. For best results, blockwork should be built tightly against the inner face of the lintel, and a mortar bed applied on top before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution. Propping the lintel during installation is advised to maintain position and accelerate build time.
