Details

The Keystone CFS/K-110 WOL 3150mm lintel is an extra heavy duty steel lintel engineered to support cavity wall openings with wide outer leaf blockwork. It’s designed for professional builders and site managers working on robust, load-bearing structures requiring reliable support for heavy masonry above wide spans. Please note, outer leaf blocks must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm, and propping is recommended to maintain construction speed and safety.

Application

This lintel is ideal for cavity walls with a cavity width of 110-125mm and outer leaf blockwork thickness of 125-150mm. It’s commonly used to span wide openings such as large window or door frames in blockwork walls, where extra heavy duty support is essential to carry significant structural loads. Builders should ensure blockwork is built tightly against the inner face of the lintel and a mortar bed is placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load.
