The Keystone CFS/K-110 WOL Extra Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel at 2850mm is designed for builders and contractors working on cavity walls with wider outer leaf blockwork. This lintel provides reliable support for openings where cavity widths range between 110mm and 125mm, accommodating outer leaf blocks of 125mm to 150mm thickness. Please note, the outer leaf blockwork should not exceed a 25mm overhang beyond the lintel flange to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity walls requiring extra heavy duty support, especially in commercial or residential developments where wider outer leaf blockwork is specified. It is commonly installed above doorways, windows, or other openings to bear substantial structural loads. To ensure efficient construction and load distribution, it is recommended to prop the lintel during installation and place a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units.
