Details

The Keystone CFS/K-110 WOL is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, purpose-built to support openings in walls with wider outer leaf blockwork. Suited to builders and contractors working on substantial projects, this lintel offers dependable strength for cavity widths of 110-125mm and outer leaf thickness between 125-150mm. Please note the outer leaf block must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is designed for use in cavity walls where a wide outer leaf is specified, commonly found in residential and commercial construction. It is ideal for spanning openings such as windows and doors requiring extra heavy duty load support. To ensure optimal performance, blockwork should be built tight against the inner face of the lintel, with a mortar bed applied on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to distribute loads evenly. Propping the lintel during construction is recommended to speed up the build process and maintain safety.
