The Keystone CFS/K-110 WIL 4200mm lintel is an extra heavy duty steel support designed specifically for cavity walls with wide inner leaf blockwork. It is a dependable choice for builders, site managers, and contractors working on serious structural projects that require robust load-bearing lintels to span large openings safely. Please note that blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity.

Application

This lintel is primarily used to support openings in cavity walls where the inner leaf blockwork measures between 125mm and 150mm in width, and the cavity itself is 110-125mm wide. It’s ideal for doorways, windows, and other structural gaps in load-bearing walls where extra heavy duty strength is essential. To ensure optimum installation, it is recommended that lintels are propped temporarily during construction. Mortar should be bedded on top of the blockwork before floor units are laid to achieve even load distribution across the lintel.
