The Keystone CFS/K-110 WIL lintel is an extra heavy duty steel lintel engineered for cavity walls with wide inner leaf blockwork. Measuring 4000mm in length, this lintel is tailored for builders, site managers, and contractors requiring dependable support over large openings. Please note, installation guidance should be followed carefully to optimise performance and safety.

Application

This lintel is ideal for structural openings in cavity walls where inner leaf blockwork widths range between 125mm and 150mm, with cavity widths from 110mm to 125mm. It is specifically designed to carry substantial loads above doors, windows, and other openings on serious building projects. Proper propping during installation is advised to ensure stability and speed up construction while blockwork is built tight against the inner face of the lintel. Applying a mortar bed above the blockwork before laying floor units helps distribute loads evenly.
