The Keystone CFS/K-110 WIL Extra Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel is a specialist structural support designed for use in cavity walls with wide inner leaf blockwork. At 2250mm in length, this lintel is engineered to provide dependable load-bearing performance for serious building projects requiring robust, long-lasting solutions. Please note, inner leaf blockwork should not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm, and lintels should be propped during installation to ensure stability and speed up construction.

Application

This lintel is typically used by builders, site managers, and contractors to support openings such as windows and doors within cavity walls where the inner leaf blockwork is between 125-150mm wide. It is ideal for projects demanding extra heavy duty load capacities, ensuring structural integrity over wide spans. For best results, blockwork should be built tight against the lintel’s inner face, and a mortar bed placed on top of the blockwork before laying floor units to evenly distribute the load.
